Taxonomic List of Lower Fungi and Related OrganismsThis work provides a taxonomic list of organisms traditionally associated with the kingdom Fungi, excluding Ascomycota and Basidiomycota, but including Fossil Fungi and Fungi incertae sedis.Entries have been checked against original literature wherever possible. In some cases, especially for organisms first published in herbaria or marked with an asterisk, original verification was not possible. If a species cannot be found directly, readers are encouraged to consult the corresponding genus, where the taxon may be discussed.Original literature is quoted as faithfully as possible, including historical spellings and possible misprints.
